Rwanda captain Bizimana ready for Super Eagles clash, declaring that the Amavubi are fully prepared for Saturday’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Uyo.

Djihad Bizimana, who leads Eric Chelle’s side, said his team will approach the match with total focus and determination.

“We are fully focused on the game. It’s an important game for us, and we will fight hard on the pitch,” the skipper told journalists on Friday.

The Amavubi will face the Super Eagles at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in what is seen as a decisive battle in Group C.

Rwanda carry confidence into the game, having stunned Nigeria 2-1 on their last visit to Uyo in November 2024. However, the Super Eagles avenged that loss with a 2-0 victory at the Amahoro Stadium, Kigali, in March this year.
