The alleged incident was first reported to authorities in late April 2025, and Daga has been formally charged under Section 297 of the Norwegian Penal Code for committing a sexual act without consent.

The Norwegian Eliteserien club confirmed that both Daga and Molde FK have cooperated fully with police during the investigation.
