Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has earned a place in Sky Sports pundit Izzy Christiansen’s Women’s Super League Team of the Week for Gameweek 19 after another commanding display for Brighton and Hove Albion.

The 25-year-old produced a composed and decisive performance in Brighton’s 1-0 victory over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Sunday, securing her sixth clean sheet of the season.

Chiamaka Nnadozie impressed early in the match with a quick reaction save to deny Shannon O’Brien, before delivering a crucial late intervention from a corner to preserve all three points for her side.

Her inclusion in the Team of the Week places her among some of the league’s standout performers, reflecting her growing influence in English women’s football.

The recognition highlights what has been a consistent and impressive season for the Nigerian goalkeeper, who has quietly established herself as one of the most reliable shot-stoppers in the Women’s Super League.
