Manchester United confirm Jadon Sancho, Casemiro and others will leave the club as free agents in a major summer squad clear-out

Manchester United have officially confirmed a list of players who will leave the club as free agents during the summer transfer window in a major squad shake-up.

The club disclosed the departures in a statement released on Wednesday morning, naming several senior and youth players set to exit Old Trafford.

Among the most notable names are Jadon Sancho, Casemiro, and Tyrell Malacia, alongside Sonny Aljofree, James Bailey and Malachi Sharpe.

Casemiro leaves after four seasons at the club, during which he made 160 appearances and scored 26 goals.

The Brazilian midfielder played a key role in United’s 2023 Carabao Cup triumph and the 2024 FA Cup victory.

Tyrell Malacia departs after making 50 appearances since joining in 2022, with injuries limiting his involvement in recent seasons.

Jadon Sancho also exits after a mixed spell at Old Trafford following his arrival in 2021.

He made 83 appearances and was part of the squad that won the 2023 Carabao Cup before going on loan spells at Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea and Aston Villa.

The club highlighted his contribution to the trophy-winning campaign, noting his involvement in key moments during the 2023 season.
