Super Eagles right-back, Bright Osayi-Samuel, has revealed his five favourite Nigerian football legends in a recent interview with Oma Sports TV.

The Birmingham City star, who previously played for Fenerbahçe, listed Austin Jay-Jay Okocha, Nwankwo Kanu, Joseph Yobo, Vincent Enyeama, and Rashidi Yekini as the players who inspired him the most.

“I will say Okocha. He still has a picture frame display at the Fenerbahçe training ground; they love him there, he is like a legend for them,” Osayi-Samuel said. “Kanu, especially when he was at Arsenal and Portsmouth. He is really good. Yobo his picture is also at the Fenerbahçe training ground. I look up to him. I have spoken to him before, and he gave me advice, very supportive. Enyeama I used to watch him when I was younger. And Yekini I didn’t really watch him, but I remember my dad used to mention him as one of the greatest players for Nigeria.”
