Drawing inspiration from Luke 1:46–49, he likened the celebrant to the Virgin Mary, saying she had raised a son who became a blessing to his people and his state.

Bishop Fape also commended Governor Abiodun’s developmental efforts, particularly the construction of the Gateway International Airport in Iperu-Remo, which he said would enhance connectivity and economic growth in Ogun and neighbouring states.
