The Ondo campaign billboard vandalisation warning was delivered through the Ondo State Signage and Advertisement Agency, which emphasised that only duly approved political advertisements will be permitted within the state.

The agency cautioned that any breach of these regulations will attract strict sanctions in line with existing laws.

According to the agency, unauthorised installation of billboards as well as the destruction of approved campaign materials undermine public order and threaten the integrity of the electoral environment.

It stressed that maintaining proper regulation of outdoor advertising is essential to ensuring fairness and decorum during political activities.

Mr Yomi Oyekan, Head of the agency, noted that acts of vandalism not only damage property but also risk escalating tensions among political actors and supporters.

He urged stakeholders to adhere strictly to established guidelines governing political advertising and campaign visibility.
