The Public Relations Officer of the Bauchi State Police Command, Ahmed Wakil, disclosed this in a statement issued on Wednesday, noting that the swift response followed a distress call from a community member.

According to the statement, the incident occurred on 29 September 2025 at about 12:01 a.m., when unidentified gunmen stormed Euga Village and kidnapped three men Idi Umar, Idi Lawan, and Musa Lawal.

“Upon receiving the call, police operatives from the Toro Area Command, Toro Division, and Nabordo Division, in collaboration with local security partners, immediately mobilised to the scene,” Wakil stated.
