Nigeria’s D’Tigress Face Group Draw at FIBA World Cup France Hungary South Korea fixture list places the African champions against some of the strongest sides in international women’s basketball, setting up a demanding group stage campaign.

France, ranked second in the world, head the group as the clear favourites, while Nigeria enter the competition ranked eighth globally and buoyed by their recent dominance on the continental stage.

Hungary and South Korea complete Group B, with both teams known for their unpredictability and ability to cause upsets despite sitting outside the top tier of world rankings.

Nigeria secured their place at the tournament under head coach Rena Wakama after winning a historic fifth consecutive AfroBasket title, reinforcing their status as Africa’s leading women’s basketball team.

Elsewhere, defending champions United States will begin their title defence in Group D, while hosts Germany headline Group A in what promises to be a highly competitive tournament.
