The Victor Osimhen 50 goals feat was completed in the 55th minute when the Nigerian striker pounced on a loose ball inside the box, firing a powerful shot into the top left corner to secure both the win and a place as the fastest player in the modern era to reach the half-century mark for Galatasaray.

Galatasaray, led by coach Okan Buruk, dominated from the start. Brazilian midfielder Gabriel Sara opened the scoring inside the first minute, finishing a low drive after a perfectly timed pass left him one-on-one with the goalkeeper.

Karagümrük responded in the 27th minute through Baris Kalayci, whose strike from the edge of the box flew into the top right corner, levelling the score at 1-1.

The visitors regained control after the break. Roland Sallai delivered a precise lofted pass to Gabriel Sara, who rose highest to head home in the 51st minute, restoring Galatasaray’s lead at 2-1.

Osimhen’s landmark goal followed shortly after, sparking celebrations among travelling fans and teammates.

The strike marked his 50th in just 59 appearances across all competitions since joining Galatasaray, surpassing club legend Mauro Icardi by reaching the milestone ten games faster in the post-2000 era.

Reports highlight Osimhen’s blistering scoring form: 37 goals in his debut season across 41 matches, followed by 13 more this campaign to reach the milestone.

He was substituted in the 79th minute to a standing ovation, having earlier seen a first-half shot blocked.

The win reinforces Galatasaray’s dominance at the top of the Süper Lig table, demonstrating fluid attacking play, precise passing, and excellent on-field chemistry.
