The Tiwa Savage visa delay came to light via a series of candid posts on Snapchat, where the singer revealed she is still awaiting a decision on her visa application—yet her passport remains unreturned, leaving her stranded at a critical moment in her career.

“I don’t even know whether my visa was approved or not. All I know is my passport is not out,” she wrote, clearly frustrated by the ordeal.

The 44-year-old singer expressed heartbreak over potentially missing a major album shoot in London, which she described as essential to the release campaign for her next music project.

The issue has also affected plans for her son Jamil’s birthday. Tiwa revealed she had organised a special birthday trip, now likely cancelled.

“Jamil’s birthday is tomorrow and the travel plans I had for him, all ruined. My heart is so heavy,” she added. “I’m just going to switch off today. Praying that God gives life and hope tomorrow.”
