Trabzonspor are exploring a Tolu Arokodare transfer as the Turkish club consider a loan move for the Wolves and Super Eagles striker

Turkish club Trabzonspor have expressed interest in signing Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare, with the Wolves forward emerging as a potential target during the summer transfer window.

The 26-year-old Nigeria international is reportedly on Trabzonspor’s shortlist as the club look to strengthen their attack following the departure of Brazilian striker Felipe Augusto to Zenit.

According to Turkish sports outlet TRT Spor, the Black Sea Storm are considering making a loan offer for Arokodare as they seek a reliable attacking option ahead of the new campaign.

Arokodare could be available for a move this summer after Wolves suffered relegation from the Premier League last season, a development that has increased speculation over the future of several players at the club.

The striker joined Wolves from Belgian Pro League side KRC Genk last summer and made a strong contribution despite the team’s difficult campaign.

He scored seven goals and provided two assists in 42 appearances across all competitions for the Old Gold, showcasing his physical presence and attacking ability.

Arokodare’s performances have also kept him in contention for Nigeria’s national team, where he continues to compete for a place among the Super Eagles’ attacking options.

A potential move to Trabzonspor would offer the forward regular playing opportunities as the Turkish side prepare for another competitive season.
